The Superintendent Student Cabinet (SSC) provides a platform for student representation from all district high schools. The mission is to uplift student policies and concerns by centering student decision-making and building equitable youth/adult partnerships.

SSC was established in the 2021-2022 school year under Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero, transitioning from a small group working with Board of Education liaisons to a district-wide initiative.

• Executive Team: A smaller team of student employees who meet weekly.

• District Engagement: Regular meetings with the superintendent and DPS leadership.

• Paid fellowship opportunity for Executive Team members.

• Opportunity to provide input on DPS policies, procedures and practices.  

• Connect with students and staff across the district.
