Three Denver Public Schools Early Childhood Education (ECE) Centers — Escalante-Biggs Academy, Pascual LeDoux Academy and Sandra Todd-Williams Academy — have earned Recognition from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), a leading national organization advancing high-quality early childhood education.
NAEYC Recognition signals a strong commitment to high-quality learning experiences and continuous improvement, and reflects the intentional work happening in classrooms every day. This is an important first step in the organization’s three-tiered Quality Assessment and Accreditation system.
Through this process, programs strengthen teaching practices, deepen collaboration among staff and ensure that young children experience engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environments. For families, it provides added confidence that their child is learning in a setting designed to support their growth and success.
This milestone highlights the dedication of educators and staff at Escalante-Biggs, Pascual LeDoux and Sandra Todd-Williams, and reinforces our commitment to providing strong early learning foundations for every student.
Families can still enroll in these high-quality preschool programs. Learn more about how to apply for preschool through Round 2, which is open through August 31. Seats are available at all three centers. Apply today!
