Have you submitted your 2026-27 Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application yet? Be sure to do it this weekend!
Families applying to an ECE-4 program must submit the UPK application in order to be matched to a school, and the deadline to apply to be matched in the first round is Feb. 2. Submitting by Feb. 2 gives you a higher chance to match with the provider that best fits your family's needs.
If your student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), the UPK application will ask you to submit it without making school selections. This is expected and you should submit the application anyway. Please also complete the ECE-4 Parent Preference Survey to provide your input regarding the location determination process.
Families applying for ECE-3 with an IEP should also submit the UPK application to apply for funding. (If your student doesn’t have an IEP, the UPK application is not needed.)
