Dear Team DPS/DPS Community,
In March, we administered the “Your Voice/Tu Voz” Student Survey to all third-through 12th-graders in the district. The survey gauged the extent to which our students feel engaged, healthy, safe, welcome, cultural and linguistic pride, and a sense of agency.
Survey results from the spring 2025 student survey (as well as the fall family survey) are available here in the eight most common languages. Follow this guide to access the survey results (and the DPS website) in your language.
Through this year’s student survey, we heard from 34,725 students. The insights from feedback received will serve as a foundation for collaborative efforts to enhance our programs and support services to ultimately improve the Student Experience.
School leaders have received their survey results and will work to address themes revealed in their data when they return from summer break.
At the district level, work will continue over the summer to improve the “Your Voice/Tu Voz” survey experience to ensure we enact strategies to ensure we hear from more students next year. The input we receive from these surveys is invaluable and gives schools and the district at large the opportunity to hear directly from students to make positive changes that contribute to their success.
Site Assessment Leaders (SALs) and school staff who coordinated to empower students to share their thoughts through the surveys are what help make this survey possible. Thank you for your collaboration!
In collaboration,
Dr. Alex Marrero
Superintendent
