DENVER - Pascual LeDoux Academy (PLA), the first Denver Public Schools Center for Early Education in southwest Denver, is celebrating 10 years of serving 3- and 4-year-old scholars.

Founded in the 2013-14 school year, PLA was created to expand public access to early childhood education and to relieve overcrowding in southwest Denver elementary schools. The school uses an award-winning curriculum, “Tools of the Mind,” designed and tailored for the district’s youngest learners.

“As we reflect on the last 10 years, we are filled with pride for how far we have come and excitement for the journey ahead,” said PLA Principal Sara Snyder-Poole. “From its inception, the vision for this school has been clear: to provide a nurturing and dynamic learning environment where every child, regardless of background or circumstance, can thrive. Thank you to all of those who have been a part of this incredible journey.”
