We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Discipline Matrix Committee, a significant development in our ongoing commitment to enhance discipline policies within our district. The Discipline Matrix Committee’s primary objective is to solicit constructive feedback from both our community and staff regarding our district’s existing discipline matrix. This feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and actions for the forthcoming revised discipline matrix.

The Discipline Matrix Committee is scheduled to operate from October 2023 to December 2023, comprising a total of six sessions, each with a two-hour duration. This committee consists of selected DPS employees and community members.

To ensure that our Discipline Matrix Committee represents a diverse cross-section of our community, we initiated the formation of a selection committee. This committee was tasked with creating the application, evaluating all received applications, and ultimately making recommendations for the individuals who will serve on the Discipline Matrix Committee.
