That is why we have invested in creating and maintaining a high quality multi-tiered systems of support framework to ensure that all students get what they need to not only succeed in academics but in social emotional learning as well.

Grow Program

Students in Kinder through Second Grade participate in the GROW program (Hands on Science) and includes classroom field trips & family nights to:

  • The Butterfly Pavilion

  • The Botanical Gardens

  • The Denver Zoo

  • Hands on instruction in thematic science units supported by Specialists in the field

  • Participation includes free membership for the entire family for one full year at the above mentioned locations

Arts

At Ellis, we believe in educating the whole child. That is why visual arts, physical education and technology literacy are available to all students weekly in grades K-5.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science Passport to Health

Our fifth grade students work with DMNS to learn about health and fitness in an engaging and active program. As part of the program, Ellis hosts an annual health and fitness family night and the fifth grade students and their families receive a complimentary membership to Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
