march news

Dear Escalante-Biggs Academy Families,

As we welcome March, I hope this message finds you in good spirits. We have some exciting

updates and important events to share with our wonderful community.

At Escalante-Biggs Academy, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing

environment for all our students. We believe that school is a place where children can thrive,

and regular attendance is crucial for their well-being and academic achievement. As we enter

spring, we often see our students' learning truly blossom, and consistent attendance plays a

vital role in this growth.

This month, we will celebrate International Women's Day, honoring all of the incredible female

role models in our students' lives. This includes not only the remarkable women in our families

but also the dedicated female staff at EBA who inspire and support our children each day. We

encourage you to take a moment to recognize and appreciate the contributions of these role

models in your child’s life.

In our ECE classrooms, we are wrapping up the Medical Unit, where students have learned

about different types of doctors and the roles they play in our health and well-being. It has

been a wonderful opportunity for our little learners to explore this important topic!

In Kindergarten, we are diving into the study of plants. Students will learn about the

different parts of plants, their life cycles, and the importance of plants in our ecosystem. We

are excited to see their curiosity and creativity blossom during this unit!

Additionally, we will be holding Family Conferences during the week of March 10-14. This is a

great opportunity for families to meet with teachers to discuss student progress and ways

to support learning at home. If you are interested in scheduling a time to meet, please

contact your child’s teacher directly.

We are also thrilled to invite families to attend our STEAM Night on March 20th from

3:30-5:30! Join us for an evening of fun and engaging activities focused on Science,

Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. It’s a great opportunity to explore and

learn together as a community!

Thank you for your continued support and engagement in our school community. Let’s work

together to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. We look

forward to a month filled with growth, celebration, and blossoming achievements!

With warm regards,

Marta Ródenas
