Nominations
The AEAC Awards celebrates nominees’ achievements through public recognition: all nominees are listed in the program and all nominees are awarded a certificate.

Nomination deadline: March 20, 2024. You can submit a nomination either by printing a paper copy and emailing it or submit using the google doc.

One or more nominees from elementary, middle and high schools respectively are selected to receive Highest Honor designations that are accompanied by scholarships.

AEAC Adult Nomination Paper Form-2024
Adults will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the success of AA/PI students in Denver Public Schools.
Teacher Award
Paraprofessional Award
Parent/Guardian Award
School Administrator Award (Principal or Assistant Principal)
Eligibility
Nominators may nominate up to 2 DPS-affiliated individuals. Nominators are usually DPS teachers, though anyone may be a nominator.
Student Nominees should be of Asian-American/Pacific Island heritage and must be a DPS student.
Adult Nominees do NOT have to be of Asian-American/Pacific Island heritage but they must be a DPS parent/guardian of a DPS student, or a DPS faculty or staff. They should serve AA/PI students in DPS with particular talent, compassion, creativity or commitment.
AEAC members are ineligible due to potential conflicts of interest.
ALL Nominees should:
Promote or exemplify a positive AA/PI identity;
Make significant, positive contributions to AA/PI students’ educational experiences; and
Be outstanding role models in every way.
