  • Colorado 211 United Way Provides a one stop shop for food, shelter, child care, rental assistance and more…

  • Focus Points Family Resource Center: Focus Points provides support to families including healthcare access, food access, housing and energy bill assistance, early childhood education, workforce development, mental health services, nutrition classes, English classes, and more.

  • Mi Casa Resource Center: Mi Casa provides economic-oriented services in an inclusive setting including financial coaching, workshops, intensive career readiness and industry specific training, 1-on-1 career coaching, and connection to higher education. They also provide basic need support like technology access, a free legal clinic, mental health services for refugees and immigrants, and connection to other resources.

  • Catholic Charities of Denver – Immigration Services: Free citizenship assistance to qualified lawful permanent residents hoping to obtain their U.S. citizenship. Call their Denver office at 303-742-4971. See their flyer with more information in English and en español

  • Child Law Center: Child Law Center is dedicated to serving Colorado’s abused, neglected and at-risk children. Their team of legal professionals and social workers work as a unit to make sure we consider the whole child in every decision and recommendation, providing advocacy for children, young adults, caregivers, and people affected by domestic violence.

  • Denver Public School System LGBTQ+ Toolkit

  • Rainbow Alley (Center on Colfax)

    • Rainbow Alley is a safe, brave space where LGBTQ youth (ages 11-21) and their allies find support and acceptance. They provide a drop-in space, youth-led events and activities, counseling and support groups, health services and life skills—all in a warm and welcoming environment.

  • YouthSeen

    • YouthSeen provides support to LGBTQ+ youth and their families in Colorado. Their services include mental health counseling, support groups, summer activities, education, and case management.

  • TYES: Supporting your Transgender Student

    • TYES remains a primarily parent-volunteer run support network dedicated to helping parents and primary caregivers support their gender expansive youth, and to help families find the information, resources, and understanding they need

  • PFLAG Denver

    • PFLAG Denver is the local chapter of the national LGBTQ+ organization. They provide support for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ+; education for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ+; and advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are LGBTQ+.

    • The Colorado Name Change Project provides information, assistance, and microgrants for people seeking legal name and/or gender marker changes.

  • One Colorado resource list

    • One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families. Their online resource list includes information on healthcare and medical access, identification documents, and other rights for LGBTQ+ Coloradans.
