Bring your picnic dinner, balls, and lawn chairs for a relaxed afternoon to celebrate the start of the school year. This is a great opportunity to meet other Brown families and enjoy our awesome school community. All are welcome!

Snag a delicious pastry from Brown's own Harp & Cal Baking Company and learn more about how to get involved at Brown. Join us for a casual PTA Meet & Greet with coffee and conversation right after school drop off. You’ll get to connect with PTA members about the year ahead, find out how you can help in big or small ways -- including room parents, library volunteers, fall events, or the audit committee and get connected with other families. Stop by and say hello!
🚲 Brown Bike Bus: Wednesday, Aug. 27

The beloved Brown Bike Bus returns on Wednesday, August 27th, with both the Sloan's Lake and Snarf’s routes running! The Brown Bike Bus is a Denver-based bike bus—a fun, active, and community-driven way for kids to get to school. Location: Brown International Academy
You're not going to want to miss meeting your student's teacher, seeing how cute their rooms look, and hearing from all the administrators and staff your kiddo interacts with on a daily basis. More details to come soon.
❤️ Room Parent Sign-Up – We Need Your Help!
We’re looking for 2-3 room parents per class! Room parents are a main point of contact for their teacher, the PTA, and classroom parents. General tasks include being the point person for the teacher to get in-class volunteers, coordinating the classroom parties, working with other room parents and the PTA on school-wide events, managing the classroom's teacher appreciation gifts, and communicating with other parents in the class to answer questions and help get them involved in the school.

Support Our School - Become an Official Member of the PTA
For those who are able, we hope you will consider membership. When you join your local unit of the PTA at Brown, you also join PTA Colorado and PTA National, the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the world. Not only do you gain a stronger voice in your local school and nationally, but you can also save money with Member Benefits Providers, including AARP, Hertz, MetLife, Schwan’s Cares, Sharp, Staples, and Sylvan.
