Dear Lancer Students and Families,
We are excited to share some incredible news from Lincoln’s Spring Athletics. Our student-athletes have been doing amazing things, and we’re making time to celebrate them!
To honor their accomplishments, we will have a modified bell schedule this Thursday, May 8th. (details below), allowing our school community to come together and cheer on our teams before their big events. This tradition is known as the playoffs“Lancer Send-Off”
Here’s what we’re celebrating:
⚽️ Our Lady Lancer Soccer Team is headed to the playoffs this Thursday! The game will be at Stargate High School in Thornton, CO at 4:00 PM. Students get in FREE!
⚾️ Our Boys Baseball Team has secured the City League Championship and is heading to the finals! They have one last regular game on Wednesday and a Round 1 playoff against Kennedy on Friday at All City Field at 4:00 PM.
🏃♂️🏃♀️ Our Track & Field Athletes competed in their final meet and brought home several ribbons. Congratulations to all our competitors!
🎾 Girls Tennis Team relaunch has been a success with 20 participants. Thanks to Denver Tennis Park’s generous support, high school girls in Southwest Denver now have the opportunity to take the court with new gear, apparel, and expert coaching instruction.
Thursday’s Modified Schedule:
Tutorial will take place at the end of the day.
Students will report to Tutorial first to check in with teachers and complete grade checks.
At 1:10 PM, we will begin calling students to line the main gym hall and hallway.
Around 1:20 PM, we will officially celebrate our teams with a school-wide recognition, cheers, and applause. This is known as the “Lancer Send-Off”

Want to make posters to cheer on our teams? Stop by the Main Office between 7:45–8:15 AM on Thursday for markers, large paper, and supplies. Teachers may also use Tutorial time for poster-making if they choose.
