The Metropolitan State University of Denver Presidential Speaker Series will welcome author Gayle Tzemach Lemmon on March 11 to discuss her book “The Daughters of Kobani: A Story of Rebellion, Courage, and Justice,” which tells the extraordinary story of an all-female Kurdish militia that fought for women’s rights in Syria.
