It’s no secret- we love our teachers in the Far Northeast!
Video shoutouts, homemade cards and special deliveries were just a few of the many ways our students and administrators showed love to our teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week this year.
At Escalante-Biggs Academy, the Administration team surprised teachers by personally delivering “Rock Star” yard signs to everyone’s home.
And they weren’t alone! Teachers at McGlone Academy and Lena Archuleta Elementary also received special deliveries to their homes.
At Farrell B. Howell, students recorded heartfelt messages sharing what they love most about their teachers.
Guess who? Teachers at John H. Amesse Elementary were celebrated on social media with an interactive “Oh Baby” guessing game. The school posted baby photos of the staff and had families submit their guesses in the comments.
Schools like DCIS at Montbello, Green Valley Elementary, Oakland Elementary and Sandra Todd-Williams Academy also used social media to celebrate their teachers through special shoutouts, slideshows and videos.

And at Collegiate Prep Academy, the student council took charge by putting together a special video to honor their teachers.
This overwhelming show of appreciation for our teachers couldn’t have come at a better time. Teacher Appreciation Week demonstrated how even at a distance, a community can come together and celebrate those who make a difference in our lives.
