Teammate Rallie Ginsberg Celebrates 100th Birthday at DPS

Sep. 23, 2016

The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Gifted and Talented (GT) team celebrated a milestone occasion on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, when one of their teammates turned 100 years old.

Rallie Ginsberg is a secretary in GT Services who has worked at DPS for more than 50 years. Her team members – both old and new – threw her a centennial birthday party at the Emily Griffith Campus, complete with cake, flowers and fun.

“Rallie makes me laugh every time she’s in,” said Robin Greene. “She has so much energy.”

Once a week, Ginsberg joins GT Services at the Emily Griffith Campus to assist the team with various office duties.

“It’s been fabulous,” Ginsberg said. “I will keep working (here) as long as they let me!”
