Superintendent Cordova Testifies Before Senate on Funding Concerns

On Wednesday, Superintendent Susana Cordova shared her thoughts and concerns in testimony before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee alongside education leaders from around the country. As DPS is making plans for a safe return to school in the fall, Supt. Cordova told senators, “We must double down for those who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis if we are to deliver on the promise of education to create a more equitable society.” Read full coverage of the hearing in this New York Times article.
