Superintendent Boasberg to Lead 11th Annual Slavens XC Invitational Races

Nearly 2,000 Cross Country Runners Guided by Boasberg on a Bike

Denver – Denver Public Schools (DPS) Superintendent Tom Boasberg, riding his bike, will guide cross country runners along the 3K course at the Slavens XC Invitational race Friday afternoon. Hailing from 55 front-range schools, 1,800 student runners will participate in the 11th annual event, sponsored by the Denver Prep League, including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos, as well as the Spartan Race.
