Southeast Regional Community Meeting: Call for New Quality Schools

Each year, DPS puts out the Call for New Quality Schools, announcing where new schools are needed and kicking off a quality review process for all applicants, in order to find the best schools to serve our kids.

Join DPS Board of Education members from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at Thomas Jefferson High School (3950 S. Holly St.) to learn more about school operators applying to open new schools in the Southeast region.

At this meeting, participants will:

  • Learn how DPS reviewed and approved the new school applicants
  • Learn more about the schools that are seeking to serve students and families at the Southeast Community
  • Understand their vision for the school
  • Engage in questions and answers with applicants
  • Learn about future opportunities to become more involved in selecting the new school

Interpretation, refreshments, and Childcare (age 3-12) is provided at no cost to participants. For questions, assistance and to RSVP, please contact the Public Affairs Office.
