Samuels “Sanctuary” Brings Rocky Mountains to Southeast Denver

Fall is the perfect time for a field trip to the Colorado Foothills. For Samuels Elementary School students, that Rocky Mountain getaway requires just a brief, two-minute walk – thanks to parent Pallas Quist, Denver Parks and Recreation, and a community of supporters and fund raisers who brought the Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant to life.
