Register for Adult Learning Opportunities at the Morey Neighorhood Center

At the Morey Neighborhood Center, which is located inside Morey Middle School, Denver Public Schools families and community members can learn Spanish, pick up knitting and stay active with fun fitness classes.

Register for a class in the upcoming 10-week session at Morey Middle School located at 840 E. 14th Ave., Denver 80218. Classes for the first session begin Monday, Feb. 13 and Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Neighborhood Centers are maintained by DPS Extended Learning, and they provide school communities a variety of opportunities outside the normal school day for students and families. The centers also provide comprehensive programming that meets the need of the community. This includes a weekly, licensed before- and after-school program, partnerships with community organizations for diverse enrichment programming, and family and adult programming.

At the Morey Neighborhood Center, adult-learning classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday nights, and include:

  • Adult swim lessons
  • Knitting
  • Mat pilates
  • Spanish (beginning to advanced)
  • Water aerobics
  • Yoga
  • Zumba
