Pakistani Pen Pals visit Skinner

Nov. 29, 2017

In the 2016-2017 school year students from Skinner wrote to pen pals from Lahore, Pakistan. Students from both countries discussed their hobbies, school life and even politics of their perspective countries. Students from Lahore sent renditions of their national anthem, as well as a Guns and Roses song they had rehearsed for their American pen pals. Skinner students tried their hand at Urdu and greeted the students of Lahore with a special message. On November 28 some of the staff, students and their families visited Skinner to meet their new friends, as well as tour Skinner and the classrooms. This partnership was made possible by The Marshall Direct Fund. www.marshalldirectfund.org
