As we look toward the start of the school year, we wanted to share some next steps for families. Our Annual Family Update is now open, and families are asked to update their contact and registration information. Families will also have the opportunity to make an enrollment decision that they believe will be the best option for them through December 2020. (Families with children who attend charter schools are asked to check with their school as schedules and enrollment processes may vary).
If you would like your student to return to in-person learning as soon as it’s available, please select the in-person learning option. If you’re certain that you won’t feel comfortable having your student participate in in-person learning for the fall semester (December 2020), please select the 100% virtual learning option. Please note that families will be able to change their enrollment decision into early fall. We are still confirming details of this change process and will share more information soon. Families who enroll in the Virtual Program will keep their enrollment slot in their home school.
To take part in Annual Family Update, first make sure you have an active Parent Portal account at myportal.dpsk12.org. Then, sign in and complete Annual Family Update before school starts. Please note: Families who already completed Annual Family Update last spring should contact their school to make their selection between in-person learning or a virtual program.
