Whittier students are expected to be in uniform every day. 

• Navy blue polo or crewneck shirt

• White polo or crewneck shirt

• Gray polo or crewneck shirt

• Long sleeve and short sleeve polo or crewneck shirts are both acceptable 

• Whittier ECE-8 t-shirt

• Navy uniform pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers

• Khaki uniform pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers

• Black uniform pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers

• Jeans pants (no rips or tears) or shorts

• Leggings can be worn underneath skirts or dresses 

• Pants, skirts, jumpers and shorts must be worn at the student’s waistline. Sagging is not allowed. A belt might be necessary to stop bottoms from sagging

• Shorts, skirts or jumpers should be the long style and fall about one inch above the knee

• No sweatpants or joggers

• No cut or ripped pants, jeans or leggings 

• Students may wear a solid gray or navy blue crewneck sweatshirt with no hood, wording or logos throughout the day

• Students are permitted to wear jackets and/or sweatshirts at lunch and recess

• Students must put coats and hoodies on coat hooks or in backpacks when they are inside the building

• Tennis shoes are preferred or solid sole shoes

• No heels, open-toe shoes, or shoes with wheels

• Students may wear boots to school in the winter but should bring a change of shoes to participate in PE 

• No hats, bandanas, or fashion head wraps 

• No purses or fanny packs

Parents can buy uniform/dress code pieces at a store of their choice as long as it meets the requirements of the uniform/dress code. Uniform dress code clothing can be found at WalMart, Target, JCPenney, Amazon, Old Navy among other stores.
