“Lillo is a true equity champion. She has become our master STEM co-teacher, working in chemistry, physics, math 4, and MATH121 over the last several years. And she will be the first to tell you that STEM is not her strongest area. She worked hard to learn the content, and she ensures that ALL students are able to be successful in rigorous courses. She is great at supporting students to advocate for themselves, she is in constant communication with families, and when push comes to shove, she is really good at bugging kids until they do what they need to do.”
