Cultural responsiveness benefits all students, particularly those students who have been traditionally under-served in schools. Because being culturally responsive is so important for our students’ academic success, DPS is hosting expert Sharroky Hollie, to talk with educators about “Six Ways to Know if You’re Culturally and Linguistically Responsive.”
Hollie, who has nearly 25 years of experience as an educator, is the executive director of the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional development for educators desiring to become culturally responsive.
DPS educators will have the opportunity to hear from Hollie, then hold a Q&A session and discussion.
Interview opportunities available.
