Hispanic Heritage Month: Charro Roberto Torres

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage, local restaurant owner Roberto Torres shares his passion for competing as a charro in a production by the Multicultural Outreach team as a part of DPS Family and Community Engagement. He participates in the art of charrería, a Mexican traditional equestrian sport.

“I was born and raised here in the U.S., but I do the most Mexican thing there is. It’s the Mexico sport,” Torres said.
