Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people and it can affect anyone. Suicide is often a result of mental health conditions that affect people when they are most vulnerable. Suicidal thoughts should not be considered common and can indicate more serious issues. It is important to know that mental health conditions that contribute to suicidal ideation are treatable.
