Event Date: September 07, 2018
Tune in to EDUCA Radio from 3-4 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 7 to listen to Board of Education member, Jennifer Bacon discuss what the Board is looking for in a new superintendent for Denver Public Schools and learn more about the search process.
On July 17, Superintendent Tom Boasberg announced he would be stepping down as district superintendent after a decade in the position. Tom has led the district through a number of progressive initiatives, including developing a framework for district success–Denver Plan 2020.
This departure means that Denver Public Schools is now engaged in the search for a new district leader, particularly someone who aligns with the past, present and future of DPS and someone who can build upon success already achieved toward Denver Plan 2020. With the assistance of an outside education consulting firm, DPS will engage in a three-phase process through the rest of the year–Super Search!
