SPF Ratings Show How Well Schools Serve Students and Families

Denver – Denver Public Schools (DPS) Board of Education President Anne Rowe, Vice President Barbara O’Brien and Superintendent Tom Boasberg will announce DPS’ 2017 ratings on the School Performance Framework (SPF).

All DPS schools use the SPF, a color-coded “stoplight” system, to show at-a-glance how a school is performing. Similar to a report card for each school, SPF ratings show how well schools support student growth and achievement. It also demonstrates how well schools serve students and families.

The event will take place at Holm Elementary, a school that is led by DPS’ longest-serving principal, Jim Metcalfe.
