Thomas Jefferson High School Hosts “Signing Day” Event to Honor Their Senior Student Athletes

Denver – On Wednesday, Feb. 7, high schools throughout Denver Public Schools (DPS) will participate in National Signing Day. National Signing Day is the first day that high school students can sign a letter-of-intent for college sports.

Thomas Jefferson High School will host a schoolwide. celebration to commemorate four senior students who will move on to play a sport in college – Adam Becker, Macey Murray, Zoya Robbins and Sydney Thompson. Of note, Thompson is a five-sport athlete who lettered in football, basketball, track, softball and soccer. She also won the John Lynch Award, which recognizes student athletes who excel in academics, athletics and community involvement from Denver schools.
