Sponsors, school partners and community members will join together to celebrate DPS students.
DENVER – The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation will host its annual Achieve Gala, an event like none other, with student participation throughout the evening. This special celebration will draw nearly 1,000 business and community leaders in support of the 90,000 students in Denver Public Schools.
Presented by Western Union and Western Union Foundation, DPS Foundation’s Achieve Gala raises funds to provide programs, resources and opportunities to help all DPS students succeed. Attendees will enjoy performances by students from Teller Elementary, West High School, and Strive Prep-SMART, along with student speakers, a comedy skit, and for the first time ever–student DJs. At this year’s Achieve Gala, attendees will also hear from DPS Foundation’s new President & CEO Richard A. Tagle who will be sharing reflections upon moving to Denver and recognizing School Partners Award winners.
The Achieve Gala is made possible thanks to the collective support of the Denver community. Premier sponsors include: Centerpiece Sponsor Polsinelli, Drumline Sponsor Kaiser Permanente, Entertainment Sponsor The ONE Group, Raise Your Hand Sponsor U.S. Engineering, Storyteller Sponsor PNC Bank, and Student Speaker Sponsor DaVita. Thanks to gala co-chairs Sylvia and Manny Hilario and Jeanne and Dick Saunders for ensuring the night is a success.
