Denver girl donates stuffed animals to DPD

Oct. 20, 2017

Hi all,   Our student, Destiny Martinez, was honored by the Denver Police Department yesterday, for her generous donation of her supply of stuffed animals to their department.  She was recently in the car when it was in an accident, and she received a stuffed animal from the policeman.  This inspired her to pay it forward, too.  The video shows it all.   Destiny is a very caring student in Traylor Academy’s third grade, and is active in our afterschool soccer club.  It would be great if you would be able to highlight her in your communications.   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, or her teachers, Michelle Joy and Keri Howard.   Thanks, Dawn Carrico Traylor Academy Principal
