U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan Visits Lowry Elementary

The U.S. Secretary of Education taste-tested Lowry's scratch-cooked meals, toured the school garden and danced and played basketball with students on Sept. 17. Arne and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius came to celebrate Denver for our national leadership in our school garden-to-cafeteria program and the much healthier lunches we are serving at our schools.
