HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAY TOUR
The 2008 Homes for the Holiday tour is a self-guided, walking tour. Tour times are 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Volunteers in each of the homes are available to answer your questions.
The tour may be started at any of three places: At Bromwell Elementary School, 2500 East Fourth Avenue; at the home at 478 Detroit; or at the home at 421 St. Paul Street. There will be ticket tables at each of these places.
Tour attendees with a pre-purchased ticket may exchange their ticket for the tour guide at the ticket table. The tour guide includes a map of the tour, a picture and description of each home on the tour, and some general information. Additional tickets may be purchased at the ticket table for $20 each. The “ticket” on the day of the tour will consist of the tour guide.
Dress for the weather, and by all means wear comfortable shoes. Tour attendees will be asked to remove their shoes at each of the homes. Handy tote bags will be available for convenience in carrying footwear.
Parking in Cherry Creek North –
In general, free, 2-hour parking is permitted on the south side of “Avenues” and on the east side of “Streets” beginning ˝ block north of Third Avenue. Be sure to check the parking signs. Metered parking is available on the streets and avenues in the commercial part of Cherry Creek North (south of Third Avenue).
After the tour, be sure to stop by the Bromwell Boutique! Returning after several years, the Boutique features more than 25 vendors offering jewelry, crafts, puzzles and other unique items. Perfect for holiday shopping! It is also a great place to greet old friends and just catch up. The Boutique will be open at the school from 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5th and from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6th.
Refreshments and holiday greenery will also be available for purchase at the Boutique.
