Music / The Bands Using practicing artists and DSA music educators, all majors of the department are also re-auditioned for chair seating and re-acceptance. Students are given their audition forms, in return, with tips on how to improve future auditions. And, as is the norm, several chair re-allocations occurr. This illustrates the need for students to keep up with private studies outside of DSA. It cannot be overstressed that private study-at least one lesson every 2 weeks -helps students advance faster and compete with their counterparts--who've in many cases studied privately for years.
