Denver School of the Arts is the academic home to 630 highly talented students. These gifts come in both the arts and academics. We are continuously trying to strengthen the academic program to accommodate the needs of students who are gifted both artistically and academically.

To support the middle school program we have a 6th grade team of teacher who plan together and integrate student work. We have a G/T coordinator working with the teachers to develop curriculum plans which provides the level of challenge that meets the varied needs of the students.

In high school we have a comprehensive program and individualize by accessing the Post Secondary Options program, the CU Succeeds program, and an AP class in each core area. We provide tutors for students who struggle and work with parents to individualize a student schedule to help their child succeed.

Our goal is to make the Denver School of the Arts a challenging and welcoming place for students and parents.
