DESCRIPTION: Many people know that February is Black History month, but not a lot of people know that it’s also a month to recognize Women in history as well. Combining the best of both worlds, Denver School of the Arts would like to invite you to this year’s Black History Show as we celebrate the many African American women who have shaped our history throughout time. We’ll take you on a journey through a magical museum where you’ll learn about everyone from African Queens to modern women while entertaining you with the beauty of song and dance. Please support Denver School of the Arts as they teach you about some Phenomenal Women… The show takes place at Denver School of the Art’s Schomp Theatre on Feb 22nd and 23rd at 7:00 p.m. On the 22nd, there’ll be a Community BBQ dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the show.
