Hamilton PTSA Speaker Program - "Parenting and the Adolescent Brain" with Stephanie Hoy from Assets for Colorado Youth

DESCRIPTION: Do you worry about the teenage years, or wonder when you look at your student, "What's going on in there?" Learn about the latest research on adolescent brain development in a manner that makes it applicable to your every day life. How do I communicate with my child in light of brain development? How do I serve as a surrogate for the pieces of the brain that are "under construction." Participants will leave reenergized to focus on their child's strengths and armed with great tips and tricks for daily interactions. Come - this event is open and free to all middle and high school parents who want to work on adolescent interactions.
