Annual 9 Health And Safety Fair At Ellis Elementary
WHERE: Ellis Elementary School Gym, 1651 S. Dahlia St.
WHEN: Friday, December 14, 2007 / 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: Meet the Tooth Fairy with her friend Mojo Monkey as they teach children about dental health. See the effects of smoking, drugs and alcohol on the body through Fatal Vision Goggles. These displays and more will be featured at the Annual 9 Health and Safety Fair, a partnership with the 9 Health “In the Classroom” program, at Ellis Elementary on December 7, 2007. At the fair students learn about the human body and establishing healthy habits. Throughout the day, Ellis students’ from grades ECE through 5th will move through booths in the gym. 5th grade student leaders will present topics at interactive booths on nutrition, dental, mental health, hand washing, dehydration, asthma, poison control, anti-smoking, and exercise. The fair is open to the public on Friday, December 14th from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
