Whole Grains for Growing Brains 2007

WHEN: Sunday, October 21, 2007 - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
DESCRIPTION: On Sunday, October 21st, the Great Harvest Bread Co. of Denver will be open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a very special event. Students from Steele Elementary, University Park Elementary and Bromwell Elementary will partner with Great Harvest for "Whole Grains for Growing Brains 2007". Students will bake and sell bread to raise some 'dough' for the the Denver Public School's Educational Outreach Program which helps provide food, clothing, transportation and other essentials for the homeless students on our school district. The students will sell student-made Honey Whole Wheat bread for $5.00 per loaf and 100% of the sales dollars will be distributed to the students in Denver's homeless shelters.
