OPTIONS FOR KIDS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

In the year 2000, you'll have 5,840 waking hours to accomplish something. How about helping a child learn to read?

"Options for Kids" is a one-on-one after school tutoring program that focuses on literacy. The DPS Community Partnership Office is working with 30 elementary schools to provide volunteer tutors for students who need extra assistance. A teacher is present at every tutoring session to assist the volunteers. Your investment of 90 minutes, one evening a week, could make a significant difference in the life of a child. All training and materials are provided.
