JESSIE MAXWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO HOST FIRST BOARD OF EDUCATION "COMMUNITY FORUM" JANUARY 27

The Board of Education will host its first Community Forum at Jessie Maxwell Elementary School on Thursday, January 27.

The forums, designed to be more informal than the regular, monthly public hearings at 900 Grant Street, will be scheduled every other month in different neighborhoods around the city. All community members, school parents, teachers, and students are invited.

Prior to the forum, the Board will host a brief community reception, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The forum will begin at 7:00 p.m. and run for about two hours. Those wishing to speak will be asked to sign up on the evening of January 27. A Spanish-speaking translator will be available.

Jessie Maxwell Elementary School is located at 14390 E. Bolling Drive in Montbello.
