EIGHT CHARTER SCHOOL PROPOSALS TO BE CONSIDERED THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9

The Board of Education has scheduled a special legislative meeting and a work session for Thursday, December 9.

At 4 p.m., the Board will begin a work session to discuss:

• School report cards

• Board meetings in schools

• Hiring policy

• Committee assignments

At the 6:15 p.m. legislative meeting, the Board is scheduled to vote on eight charter school proposals that have been under consideration. Also on the agenda is a decision regarding the program design for the new northwest Denver elementary school.
