DENVER SCHOOL OF THE ARTS AND SMITH RENAISSANCE SCHOOL OF THE ARTS TO HOST INTERNATIONAL VISITORS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29th
Denver School of the Arts and Smith Renaissance School of the Arts are proud to welcome members of the International NETWORK of Performing and Visual Arts Schools on Friday, October 29, from 9:00 a.m. until noon. After NETWORK members visit the schools, the students will join the NETWORK at the Adams Mark Hotel for a showcase of talents from noon to 1 p.m.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Todd Siler, an internationally recognized educator, artist and author. He attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he developed his integrative studies in brain science, psychology and art. For his original work, he was awarded the first interdisciplinary Ph.D. for art and psychology in the history of the institute.
These schools were selected by the NETWORK because of their continuous efforts in performing arts excellence. The NETWORK consists of individuals who are dedicated to the arts and want to help youth find their special areas of performing. Through the visits with NETWORK members the students are exposed to all levels of talent and are able to take what they've learned back to school.
