TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS AUGUST 19

The Denver Board of Education has two meetings set for Thursday, August 19. The meetings will be held at 900 Grant St.

The first meeting is a 4 p.m. work session in Room 706.

• Agenda to be announced

The second meeting is the Board's regular legislative meeting at 6:15 p.m. in the first floor Board Room. Among the items the Board will consider:

• A new student video production policy that sets certain standards for students involved in video production for class assignments or other school-related activities
• Construction contracts for sports complexes at George Washington High School and Doull Elementary School (a joint effort among DPS, the Colorado Rockies and the National Adult Baseball Association)
• Student fees for 1999-2000, including athletic participation fees and tuition for pre-kindergarten Montessori students
• Charter school guidelines.
