BAKER, BROWN AND KENNEDY TO SEND TEAMS TO WORLD ODYSSEY OF THE MIND COMPETITION IN TENNESSEE

Baker Middle School, Brown Elementary School and John F. Kennedy High School Odyssey of the Mind teams will compete in the world tournament May 26-29 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Baker will send two teams. One will compete in the RatioMetric Structure category, and the other in the O' My Faire Shakespeare category. Kennedy and Brown are also sending teams to compete in the O' My Faire Shakespeare category (in different divisions).

"OM" is an international, creative problem-solving competition for students in kindergarten through college. Its purpose is to foster the development of creative thinking and creative problem-solving skills among young people.

Following is a list of DPS teams that finished in the top five at the state tournament April 24.
