5th Graders At Waller Conquer The Stock Market
Power Lunches Pay Off! Twenty-five 5th grade students at Florida Pitt Waller used lunch hours to participate in the Post-News Fall Stock Market Game. From Mid September to November 30th students researched investments, followed the rollercoaster ride of market fluctuations, and invested up to $100,000 in the Game. Two teams were successful in choosing and trading stocks that stood the test of time. In First Place, winning a $100.00 prize, was the team of Dimas Hornbuckle and Q.J. In second place, winning a $75.00 prize, was the team of Derek Hawkins, Nayci Hollis, and Analyssa Green.
