Board Approves 2008-2009 School Year Calendar
The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Board of Education tonight approved the 2008-2009 school year calendar in a 5-2 vote in favor of staring school before the Labor Day holiday. Under the approved calendar, the 2008-2009 school year will start on August 18, 2008. A copy of the approved calendar is available online at www.dpsk12.org/calendars/.
