Bonnie Staack Of Ellis Elementary named Colorado Title I Teacher Of The Year For 2007 - 2008!

Bonnie Staack, Grade 1 ELA-E Teacher at Ellis Elementary School, has been named 2007 - 2008 Colorado Title I Teacher of the Year.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Staack! This is a superlative achievement. Mrs. Staack demonstrates diversified skills as a teacher. She is both child-oriented and results-oriented. She is fully committed to School Excellence and strives for state-of-the-art perfection.

"We are proud of Bonnie Staack and honored to have her teaching at Ellis. She is extremely versatile, excelling both as teacher and in school and district professional learning," stated Principal Khoa Nguyen.

A ceremony has been scheduled for Friday, December 21, at 7:00 a.m. in the Ellis library at 1651 S. Dahlia St. in Denver. The Colorado Department of Education will present the award and a check for $5,000 to Mrs. Staack. Also attending the ceremony will be state and district staff, JFM Foundation representatives, and community members.
