John F. Kennedy High School Now Accepting Applications For The 2008-2009 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
John F. Kennedy High School is now taking applications for the 2008-2009 International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Highly motivated students who are currently in the 10th grade are encouraged to apply. The challenging, two-year program, known for its demanding curriculum and global outlook, leads to an IB diploma that is widely recognized by the world's leading universities. Students who successfully complete IB Diploma Programme exams can earn college credit during high school.
An IB education requires students to learn on a deeper level, make connections to the world around them and ask questions. IB students are intellectually curious about the world, are critical and creative thinkers, and express ideas with confidence.
Applications are available at the school or may be downloaded from the JFK website: http://jfk.dpsk12.org. All applications are due December 14th.
If you have any questions contact Matt Brown, IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, at 720-423-4510 or Alex Sanchez, DPS Director of Communications at 720-423-3414.
